At a few minutes to 5 o'clock, we had a roomful of hungry people, looking forward to the meal, which was catered by
Danny's Fins and Hens out of Lubbock. They always do a great job for us.

Mary Waller (right) has been in business for 30 years this month, and has been feeding Worley Welding for quite a few
of those. Also pictured is her helper, her daughter Krystal Hulse. Thank you for the delicious meal!

for Mike Worley, and then made the shield as a Christmas present for him. We saved it until we finished remodeling our
Main Office just recently, and it is visible from the the entry. Thanks very much Steven for these gifts which
are great conversation pieces for our office! (L-R): Mark Williams, Steven Castillo, and Mike Worley.

Wednesday, January 11th, 2012. Time once again for our Annual Safety Meeting, when we recap the past year's
safety accomplishments. Mark Williams (Safety Manager) reminds everyone that 2011 was a year with
"ZERO" eye injuries, and we want to keep it that way!

Robert Gonzalez (Safety Supervisor) takes a few minutes to discuss our near misses
and the lessons learned from those incidents.

A big thank you to Safety Manager Mark Williams, Safety Supervisor Robert Gonzalez, Safety Auditor Teddy Vargas,
Safety Secretary Leslie Jackson, and Environmental Manager Michael Etheridge, for the great job they all did during 2011!

Wednesday, January 4th, 2012. The BLP has gotten so busy they needed a new 200-HP Compressor.
They even got new ductwork to go with it. Way to go, David, for getting it worked out!

Friday, December 23rd, 2011. Worley Welding celebrates Christmas every year with a game and gift exchange.
Looks like everything is set-up and good to go!

First all of the Christmas Tree gifts were distributed. Each employee drew the name of a fellow employee to buy for.

We were all glad to see David Alexander, who is looking good after a recent scare!

We had a special guest host...Prince....um....well, King....uh....Sammy!

The first four contestants are lined up, looking like they're ready to have some fun...

Although the next four may not be too sure...

Sometimes it's hard to tell what you might be in for, or even whether you'll get to keep it, which makes it fun!
First, the good news: Joey finds out he's got cruise tickets...the bad news? It sailed out the week before!

You just never know, so it pays to check it out!

Everyone can hardly wait to open their gifts to see what their fellow employees got for them...

Fortunately, some have a great sense of humor, which makes for a hilarious gift ("Pajama Jeans?").
Looks like everyone had a great time!

Worley Welding would like to wish everyone a safe and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2012!!!

Tuesday, December 13th, 2011. Our annual Open House Luncheon was held today.

We had an amazing turn out this year.

Some were very excited to get their list into Santa!!!

Sherry Phelps was glad to sit in for Kenny, who couldn't make it this year.

Others were left speach less...

And one was sad to see Santa leave.

Thursday, September 8th, 2011. This time our bimonthly safety meeting covered the topic of
"Overhead Power Lines", with a demonstration put on by our friends, the experienced line crews with Xcel Energy.
The presentation was very interesting, and was a good reminder not to take power lines for granted.

It is amazing what 7,200 volts will pass through and the damage it will do, as shown above!

We also voted on our annual Safety Patch Contest. Pictured (L-R) are: Mark Williams, holding a company Safety Board,

The ribbons and the signs are hung with great care...

In hopes a great crowd soon would be there!

The table decorations were a unique touch this year as well.

With parking well in hand, Robert Gonzalez signals to let the festivities begin!.

Marvin Mitchell takes a moment to thank God and ask a blessing for our food...

We had a great time that was enjoyed by all, and served about 500 people. We would like to thank everyone again for

in the FMC Technologies Inc. AFA Manifold Trailer project. Larry Kirk gives some introductory comments.

The cake looks delicious, and it turns out that it was!

Larry Kirk started the program by recalling the story of how everything started a year ago, and how
things developed over the next several months.

Mike Worley presented appreciation plaques for the "Above and Beyond" efforts of four individuals.

someone's got to do it! A big thank you to all of our judges! Pictured are Randy Teinert and Craig Morton
