The contestants in our game have hard decisions to make! Should I steal
someone else's gift or choose something that hasn't been picked yet?
There were lots of laughs and all were winners of this game!
Larry Kirk shows off the winner in our "largest gift"

David Alexander headed up the team that planted six Bradford Pear trees
along the fence line at RB-2. You can never have too many trees in West Texas!!!

Ronnie Humphries and crew planted five Crepe Myrtle plants and ten
Honeysuckle plants along the south fence line behind the Steam
Station in an effort the "pretty up" things back there!
Representatives of South Plains Tech Prep presented Mike Worley

Jr. Elmore looks on as Adrian Huber, Domingo Cirilo and Michael Lopez
display their entries for the largest tomato. I wonder what kind of fertilizer
they used!

Congratulations to Jeff Pharis! He has accepted the position of
Deputy Sheriff of Hockley County. Jeff will be assigned to the
Sundown community. The bad news is that he leaves full-time
employment here at Worley's. The good news is that he has graciously
agreed to continue helping us out with our safety and environmental
programs, so thankfully, this isn't really goodbye! On Thursday, August 16th
we honored him with a luncheon and a few gifts to let him know
how proud we are of him!

Jeff Pharis displays his "going away" gifts. Along side of
him are Mike Worley, Janna Worley and Ronnie Humphreys.

Amangaliyev, Salavat Azerbayev and Bakyt Ussenov with SAPA. They
said that they have traveled all over the world and that we are one of the
best companies that they have visited.

We just completed the smallest transport we have ever built.
It is a 3,000 Gal/3-Cpt unit for BJ Services.

Our June safety meeting included a mock accident complete
with victims, firemen, policemen and an ambulance.

Officer Lopez prepares our "drunk" driver for a field sobriety test. Notice the
victim on the ground, he is dead due to injury suffered in the collision.

Firemen reassure the remaining victims that they will be rescued.
During the rescue process the firemen constantly talk to the
victims and let them know what is going on.

Using the Jaws of Life the firemen have removed the top of the car, the
whole time protecting the victims left inside the vehicle. We thank the
Levelland Fire Department, Levelland Police Department, Levelland EMS
and the South Plains College Police Department. These guys volunteer
their time to present these demonstrations, they aren't paid a penny.
We thank them for raising awareness of drunk driving, not only to us at
Worley's, but the Levelland community as well!

We have started up our cheer contest for 6000 days with out a lost
time accident. Domingo Cirilo had the winning cheer this time. He
is show here with Mike Worley.

Shown here is a recently completed Treating Truck built for Baker-Petrolite
uniquely fitted with three plastic tote tanks.
Recently, Worley's sponsored the Levelland Community Playground
Project. We had many employees who donated their time and energy to
help build the playground. Shown "helping" here are Eugene Diaz
and Robert Gonzales. Also helping were: Robert Nunez, Joe Hernandez,
Teddy Vargas, Jonathan Vargas, Steven Castillo, Alfredo Gaitan,
Guy Taylor and Jeff Steffler.
"Fast" Eddie Chavarria also lends a hand in building the playground.
Thank you guys for all your hard work. You have been a blessing to the
whole Levelland community! Our eager chauffeurs await the arrival of our
guests at our annual Summer Luncheon and Open House held on June 19, 2007.
My, doesn't Mark Gonzales clean up good!!!
He even has his shirt tucked in for once!!!
Shown here are our hard-working parking attendants. They stayed busy
helping over six-hundred and fifty guests park safely. Thank you men!!!
Eddie Chavarria aka "Fast Eddie" directed traffic in the hot, hot,
West Texas sun.
Our wonderful employees spent much time in preparation for our guests
and worked hard to make sure the tables were in just the right place!!!
We set up three serving lines where guests could quickly fill their
plates with delicious food provided by Danny's Fins and Hens.
Our own Kenny Johnson helps serve tea and water in our new cups at the luncheon.

Levelland EMS is always willing to display their ambulances for the Open House.
They help us out throughout the year with anything we ask of them as well!!!
We have a new safety sign in the FAB Shop! It is show here along
with the top finishers in the rumored Hawaiian shirt contest.

We just completed the second DOT class of the new year!
Shown here are the graduates. Way to go guys!
We held a pizza party in honor of Mark Myers who was our first
TPCLF (temporary, part-time, contract-labor, floater).
He has worked for us for the past three years.
Mark is taking some "time off" in order to enjoy life with his wife Connie.
We are just saying "so long" to him but expect to see him around regularly.
Thank you Mark, for always doing whatever we asked of you!
We recently completed the largest truck we have built for
Baker-Petrolite. It was shipped to Caldwell, TX.
Weatherford brought in a wrecked transport from Vernal, UT for Ronnie
and the gang to repair. It had been wrecked and suffered some major damage.
The same Weatherford transport as it undergoes repairs. It is already looking better!
The finished product looks great! You'd never know that it had so much damage.
Ronnie Humphreys and the gang truly worked their magic on this transport!
